In the 48th minute, Gil Bastos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Luiz Fernando Motta hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute Manoel Porto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Enekoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Monte Hermoso Beach fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonatan Enekoitz should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. HollywooDogs had won after a very even match.
