Antônio Carlos Cavalcante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renatinho Urbano in the 26th minute of the match. Sérgio Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Brasil having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evair Palmeira got free with Antônio Carlos Cavalcante in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 35 minutes into the game, ITAFUT 4EVER's Renatinho Urbano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Antônio Carlos Cavalcante made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Anísio Carneiro lost his temper 41 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 40th minute, one of Palestra do Interior:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Palestra do Interior.

50 minutes into the game, ITAFUT 4EVER's Evair Palmeira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Antônio Carlos Cavalcante made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by Palestra do Interior's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tonhão Palmeira was slow to take the kick. During this time ITAFUT 4EVER's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Tonhão Palmeira got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Antônio Carlos Cavalcante quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Antônio Carlos Cavalcante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evair Palmeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th match minute, ITAFUT 4EVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valério Fernandes to maneuver through the defense.
