Erik Clifton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jules Triboulet was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Frank Meyer showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. In the 10th minute, S.D. Bajen's Devon Pollard seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Devon Pollard the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of S.D. Bajen protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Devon Pollard had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 10 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for S.D. Bajen! 1-1 came in the 13th minute when Salomon Got all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Pascal Avalos. Herblay were furious when Edgard Cognard was red carded, 17 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 19 minutes into the match, Antonin Daguerre had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pascal Avalos. S.D. Bajen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antonin Daguerre was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. When S.D. Bajen's Erik Clifton in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Herblay's goalie prevented a goal. Jules Triboulet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erik Clifton's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Maugard in the 25th minute of play forced S.D. Bajen's goalkeeper Pascal Avalos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the game, Tom Colle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Herblay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.D. Bajen the free kick. In the 30th minute, Tom Colle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Didier Kiffer kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. When Antonin Daguerre fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Herblay's protests and gave Antonin Daguerre a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Herblay's Antonin Daguerre got a free kick in the 36th minute. Pascal Avalos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonin Daguerre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute Adam Maugard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascal Avalos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Malik Vrignon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Malik Vrignon in the 45th minute of play forced S.D. Bajen's goalkeeper Pascal Avalos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adam Maugard in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pascal Avalos saved S.D. Bajen from getting behind. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Bajen's Pascal Avalos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save S.D. Bajen from getting a goal against them. A collision led to S.D. Bajen getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Odell McPherson hit a great ball. 59 minutes into the match, Herblay's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Clifton came free, but Jules Triboulet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, S.D. Bajen's goalkeeper Pascal Avalos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adam Maugard. An unexpectedly hard shot by Didier Kiffer in the 64th minute of play forced S.D. Bajen's goalkeeper Pascal Avalos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to S.D. Bajen getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Frank Meyer hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in S.D. Bajen's zone, Adam Maugard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pascal Avalos came out of the goal and Adam Maugard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mohammed Cagle during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Herblay's Jonathan Samuel was substituted for Tom Colle. A collision led to S.D. Bajen getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Mohammed Cagle hit a great ball. Pascal Avalos made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Adam Maugard sent off a good shot on target. Jules Triboulet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Meyer in the 77th minute of the match. In the 85th match minute, S.D. Bajen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robbie Parson to maneuver through the defense. Pascal Avalos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adam Maugard in the 88th minute. Adam Maugard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Pascal Avalos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Herblay could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than S.D. Bajen throughout the match.
