The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nelsinho Marinho was the one to do the kick off. The corner led Palestra do Interior's Nelsinho Marinho to fire away a dangerous shot which Enrique Belasko despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 88th minute, Generoso Michael ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antônio Carlos Cavalcante was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-5. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Galáctico Azul FC™ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
