Bajen's goal looked a bit too open when Jann Sparegodt came free, but Pascal Avalos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Isak Wachenschwanz fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Holmkjar Hotspurs's protests and gave Isak Wachenschwanz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29th minute, Micael Byvold hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. S.D. Bajen's Devin Madison couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 30th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Holmkjar Hotspurs. Holmkjar Hotspurs's Egil Sølve played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Meyer in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Clinton Starnes made a precise shot to the right of Egil Sølve. Holmkjar Hotspurs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Timmi Bantz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascal Avalos having to interfere. Pascal Avalos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jann Sparegodt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jann Sparegodt to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of S.D. Bajen booed when Holmkjar Hotspurs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timmi Bantz didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Frank Meyer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the match, Timmi Bantz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pascal Avalos. S.D. Bajen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Timmi Bantz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Holmkjar Hotspurs's Casper Emerek was substituted for Halfdan Wøldike. Pascal Avalos was left in no man's land by his defense there! The S.D. Bajen supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Holmkjar Hotspurs's performance. The match ended with a win for Holmkjar Hotspurs.
