MAZER SAF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erasmo Mesquita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 6 minutes into the match, MAZER SAF's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Clifton came free, but Osvaldo Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. S.D. Bajen's Pascal Avalos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celsinho da Silveira in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute, MAZER SAF's Luiz Fabiano Abraão seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Luiz Fabiano Abraão the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of MAZER SAF protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Luiz Fabiano Abraão had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Luiz Fabiano Abraão kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. A collision led to S.D. Bajen getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Devon Pollard hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lane Berg in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Osvaldo Marques prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Igor Coronado in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pascal Avalos saved S.D. Bajen from getting behind. 20 minutes into the match, S.D. Bajen's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Coronado came free, but Pascal Avalos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erik Clifton in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Osvaldo Marques saved MAZER SAF from getting behind. Erik Clifton kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, S.D. Bajen's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Coronado came free, but Pascal Avalos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The long shot by Celsinho da Silveira in the 30th minute really tested Pascal Avalos's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Igor Coronado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascal Avalos having to interfere. Pascal Avalos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Coronado in the 43rd minute of play. MAZER SAF were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after S.D. Bajen's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Celsinho da Silveira took the corner. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Igor Coronado to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, S.D. Bajen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Devon Pollard to maneuver through the defense. Pascal Avalos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Coronado in the 58th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Félix Torres in the 61st minute of play forced S.D. Bajen's goalkeeper Pascal Avalos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frank Meyer hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. MAZER SAF made a substitution. Gernando Vianna replaced Jarbas Borges. MAZER SAF's Bernardinho Cunha was substituted for Celsinho da Silveira. After a rather tough play, S.D. Bajen's Frank Meyer got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Pascal Avalos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Coronado, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. A collision led to MAZER SAF getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Alessandro Zonta hit a great ball. In the 75th minute, Devon Pollard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute, Igor Coronado made a precise shot to the right of Pascal Avalos. S.D. Bajen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 82nd minute, Adriano Rosa made a precise shot to the right of Pascal Avalos. S.D. Bajen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Alessandro Zonta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yuri Alberto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89th minute Igor Coronado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascal Avalos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The attack was good, but when Igor Coronado in the 89th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 93 minutes into the game, Igor Coronado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Pascal Avalos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 97 minutes into the match, S.D. Bajen's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Coronado came free, but Pascal Avalos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. MAZER SAF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
