Eliseu Alagoano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aaron Bergqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. With an all-out effort, DIF LEEDS BK's Édouard Mendy threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hans Kellbom, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Elias Gustafsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 18 minutes, Hans Kellbom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DIF LEEDS BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hans Kellbom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Édouard Mendy successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Édouard Mendy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Holger Lidström, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Célio Albuquerque kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prosper Pike in the 23rd minute of play forced Al-Fajuth's goalkeeper Édouard Mendy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Prosper Pikes short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Édouard Mendy to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some careless play in the DIF LEEDS BK defense, Ciro Meireles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aaron Bergqvist. The DIF LEEDS BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aaron Bergqvist should have stopped the shot. In the 35th minute, Dýrmundur Pike hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aaron Bergqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Meireles, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. DIF LEEDS BK's Aaron Bergqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Meireles in the 42nd minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Eliseu Alagoano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Aaron Bergqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The DIF LEEDS BK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Al-Fajuth were winning 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Prosper Pike stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Maicon Zanette hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Holger Lidström in the 54th minute of play forced Al-Fajuth's goalkeeper Édouard Mendy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55thth minute of the game Wilson Matorin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DIF LEEDS BK's Aaron Bergqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 57 minutes of play, Al-Fajuth's Ciro Meireles made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aaron Bergqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Prosper Pike fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Édouard Mendy having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Al-Fajuth's goal looked a bit too open when Prosper Pike came free, but Édouard Mendy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aaron Bergqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseu Alagoano in the 66th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, DIF LEEDS BK's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseu Alagoano came free, but Aaron Bergqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th match minute, Al-Fajuth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Léo Ortiz to maneuver through the defense. DIF LEEDS BK made a substitution. Oscar Löfkvist's late challenge caught a Al-Fajuth's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oscar Löfkvist helped the player get up and apologised. Aaron Bergqvist had great luck who in the 83rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Eliseu Alagoano from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 85thth minute of the game Eliseu Alagoano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DIF LEEDS BK's Aaron Bergqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 92nd minute, Eliseu Alagoano made a precise shot to the right of Aaron Bergqvist. DIF LEEDS BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. Al-Fajuth's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
