After a rather tough play, Palestra do Interior's Ronaldo Pirani got a free kick in the 5th minute. Albert Şania was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 7 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 7th minute of the game. One of Unicorns ™:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Palestra do Interior:s goal. In the 13th minute of the match, Nelsinho Marinho got a very nice opportunity to score, but Silviu Bogătan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 18th minute, Palestra do Interior's Nelsinho Marinho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Silviu Bogătan. Silviu Bogătan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Silviu Bogătan was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Ronaldo Pirani capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ronaldo Pirani really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Nelsinho Marinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Silviu Bogătan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alex Răduț kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Unicorns ™'s zone, Richard Ríos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silviu Bogătan came out of the goal and Richard Ríos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 32 minutes into the game, Valentin Alexandrescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Unicorns ™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palestra do Interior the free kick. A collision led to Unicorns ™ getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Valentin Alexandrescu hit a great ball. Silviu Bogătan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nelsinho Marinho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 35 minute of play. The supporters of Palestra do Interior booed when Unicorns ™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Ghișe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nelsinho Marinhos short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Silviu Bogătan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 42nd minute Nelsinho Marinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silviu Bogătan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, Palestra do Interior's Sérgio Cruz got a free kick in the 50th minute. Nelsinho Marinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Silviu Bogătan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Perivaldo Carneiro in the 60th minute of play forced Unicorns ™'s goalkeeper Silviu Bogătan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silviu Bogătan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo Pirani in the 61st minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Palestra do Interior's Ronaldo Pirani sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silviu Bogătan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Unicorns ™'s zone, Ronaldo Pirani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silviu Bogătan came out of the goal and Ronaldo Pirani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Palestra do Interior made a substitution. David Vale replaced Alex Toscano. Silviu Bogătan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelsinho Marinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. The supporters of Palestra do Interior booed when Unicorns ™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rareș Papadima didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute, Nelsinho Marinho made a precise shot to the right of Silviu Bogătan. Unicorns ™'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. After 77 minutes, Gheorghe Albescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Unicorns ™ and the Palestra do Interior players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 78 minutes, Nelsinho Marinho made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Unicorns ™'s Silviu Bogătan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 84th match minute, Palestra do Interior was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Perivaldo Carneiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th match minute, Unicorns ™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurel Huștiu to maneuver through the defense. Silviu Bogătan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinei Brito in the 95th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Palestra do Interior players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
