After a rather tough play, ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ's Clemente Martino got a free kick in the 7th minute. ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ's Clemente Martino got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 15 minutes, Umberto Dionísio made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ's Jaime Afonso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Castanheiro SC booed when ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Lauro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Clemente Martino was the one to do the kick off. Castanheiro SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benedito Mineiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anísio Alagoano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Ciriaco Oinaz charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ciriaco Oinaz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Castanheiro SC's Marcelo Eger was substituted for Anísio Alagoano. After a rather tough play, ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ's Fernando Elodio got a free kick in the 85th minute. The audience was convinced that Benedito Mineiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jaime Afonso was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. In the 97th minute, Marcelo Eger ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jaime Afonso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Castanheiro SC played a much better game than ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ and deserved their victory. The ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
