A collision led to ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★ getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Lisandro Tomi hit a great ball. Édouard Mendy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Rozarius in the 13th minute of play. A collision led to Al-Fajuth getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Léo Ortiz hit a great ball. In the 16th match minute, ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Rozarius to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Al-Fajuth getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Célio Albuquerque hit a great ball. After 23 played minutes Al-Fajuth got a freekick which was hit by Célio Albuquerque. In the 29th minute Narciso Tano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Édouard Mendy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gavino Orlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Meireles in the 32nd minute of play. Gavino Orlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Meireles, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Al-Fajuth's Édouard Mendy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Al-Fajuth from getting a goal against them. In the 57th minute, Ciro Meireles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★ made a substitution. Gavino Orlan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Al-Fajuth's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
