Basarab Bâlea hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorginho Soares got free with Marcel Anisie in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 6 minutes into the match, Internazionale-RS's goal looked a bit too open when Șerban Damian came free, but David Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Adam Rednic got away a dangerous shot. Despite this David Godoi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basarab Bâlea in the 11th minute of play forced Internazionale-RS's goalkeeper David Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basarab Bâlea, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Internazionale-RS's David Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Șerban Damian in the 19th minute of play. With his leg Marcel Anisie managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Internazionale-RS's Jorginho Soares fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jorginho Soares came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marcel Anisie could save by the left post. Luís Fernando Paes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Marcel Anisie made a huge save. Bruno Gaúcho was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 34 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, one of Internazionale-RS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Internazionale-RS. If Jorginho Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half DINAMO were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Jorginho Soares made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Ronaldinho de Amaral notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of DINAMO's Marcel Anisie. Marcel Anisie was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 55th match minute, DINAMO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Irinel Gheordunescu to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Jorginho Soares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcel Anisie was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. After 59 played minutes Internazionale-RS got a freekick which was hit by Luís Fernando Paes. In the 63rdth minute of the game Jorginho Soares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DINAMO's Marcel Anisie was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 65 minutes, Ovidiu Crăciun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DINAMO and the Internazionale-RS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th minute Ronaldinho de Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Anisie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Jorginho Soares notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of DINAMO's Marcel Anisie. Marcel Anisie was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Internazionale-RS made a substitution. Dino de Toledo replaced Ronaldinho de Amaral. Marcel Anisie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorginho Soares in the 76th minute of play. Valentin Stătescu kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Remus Elisei kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute Șerban Damian suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 83 minutes into the game, Vitinho Siqueira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Internazionale-RS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DINAMO the free kick. In the 85th minute, Vitinho Siqueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcel Anisie came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Internazionale-RS's Bruno Santana. But to his dismay, Bruno Santana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. DINAMO's Eugen Bobocea has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 95th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Internazionale-RS fully deserved thier win.
