After recieving a nice pass, ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s Saverio Ladio tried to score from far away in the 18th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Narciso Tano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedrinho Guimarães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermengildo Bertol, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Anísio Alagoano scored 2-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gavino Orlan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Castanheiro SC's Benedito Mineiro got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute Hermengildo Bertol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrinho Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Castanheiro SC's Pedrinho Guimarães proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Castanheiro SC from getting a goal against them. Benedito Mineiro scored 4-0 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gavino Orlan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Umberto Dionísio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Castanheiro SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Umberto Dionísio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Cresencio's late challenge caught a Castanheiro SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan Cresencio helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s Jonathan Cresencio got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Gavino Orlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Umberto Dionísio in the 94th minute of play. There was no doubt that Castanheiro SC were the better team. Castanheiro SC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
