Generoso Michael charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Generoso Michael the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th minute, Generoso Michael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Enrique Belasko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Rozarius, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Gavino Orlan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With 21 minutes on the clock, Faustino Lartaun commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 22nd minute, Faustino Lartaun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maximo Cutberto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gavino Orlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Generoso Michael, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gavino Orlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Generoso Michael in the 35th minute of play. Gaspar Magdaleno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Gavino Orlan made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermengildo Bertol in the 37th minute of play forced Galáctico Azul FC™'s goalkeeper Enrique Belasko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute of the match Guillermo Miliano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gavino Orlan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 43rd minute, Hermengildo Bertol made a precise shot to the right of Enrique Belasko. Galáctico Azul FC™'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eulalio Vincent got free with Gavino Orlan in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Narciso Tano was the one to do the kick off.
