Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Modlau's Dobromir Rzeszutko started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fritz Berghmans scored 1-0 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stasio Starogardzki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stasio Starogardzki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fritz Berghmans in the 7th minute of the match. Walery Rekawiczka charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Walery Rekawiczka the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fritz Berghmans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stasio Starogardzki having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Fritz Berghmans kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stasio Starogardzki. That made the score 2-0 in the 18 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fritz Berghmans in the 22nd minute of play forced Modlau's goalkeeper Stasio Starogardzki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute Tolek Zieba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olivier Dubs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Modlau's Stasio Starogardzki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fritz Berghmans in the 26th minute of play. After 27 played minutes Modlau got a freekick which was hit by Wit Polkoski. If Fritz Berghmans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 29th minute Fritz Berghmans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stasio Starogardzki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Modlau booed when BEST FABIO F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anaking Skywalker didn't get a good kick on the ball. Michal Zdeb might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Olivier Dubs. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Michal Zdeb ran back to his position shaking his head. Stasio Starogardzki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fritz Berghmans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olivier Dubs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raúl Gonzales in the 42nd minute of the match. When Atilla Kağan Ergüvenç fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BEST FABIO F.C.'s protests and gave Atilla Kağan Ergüvenç a yellow card for diving instead. After 43 played minutes BEST FABIO F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Atilla Kağan Ergüvenç. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Dobromir Rzeszutko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Modlau's supporters rose to their feet, but Dobromir Rzeszutko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olivier Dubs breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fritz Berghmans to make the kick off. When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Fritz Berghmans sped through Modlau's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Stasio Starogardzki. Stasio Starogardzki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fritz Berghmans in the 58th minute of play. After having played for 60 minutes, Fritz Berghmans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BEST FABIO F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Fritz Berghmans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 61st minute, Rene Sergi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dobromir Rzeszutko got free with Olivier Dubs in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fritz Berghmans in the 65th minute of play forced Modlau's goalkeeper Stasio Starogardzki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Modlau's goal looked a bit too open when Fritz Berghmans came free, but Stasio Starogardzki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. BEST FABIO F.C.'s Fritz Berghmans got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. BEST FABIO F.C.'s Rodrigo Garro was substituted for Jiang Liang Wei. 80 minutes into the match, Modlau's goal looked a bit too open when Fritz Berghmans came free, but Stasio Starogardzki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by Modlau's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fausto Velloso was slow to take the kick. During this time BEST FABIO F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. 84 minutes into the game, Michal Zdeb was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Modlau's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BEST FABIO F.C. the free kick. After a rather tough play, Modlau's Michal Zdeb got a free kick in the 84th minute. Stasio Starogardzki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Garro in the 86th minute of the match. In the 88th minute of the match BEST FABIO F.C. got a corner. Modlau's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fausto Velloso ran over to the corner to take the kick. After having played for 90 minutes, Fritz Berghmans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BEST FABIO F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Fritz Berghmans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stasio Starogardzki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fritz Berghmans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Fritz Berghmans came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the BEST FABIO F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fritz Berghmans couldn't finish the play. BEST FABIO F.C. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Modlau for a fine match.
