Zelg FC's Marian Anderjoli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santo Illan in the 3rd minute of play. Santo Illan struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Marian Anderjoli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Formentera. David Tabb scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marian Anderjoli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Formentera fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Formentera's David Tabb looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 16 minutes, David Tabb made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Zelg FC's Marian Anderjoli tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 23rdth minute of the game David Tabb who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zelg FC's Marian Anderjoli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, David Tabb managed to get in a good position for a shot. Formentera's supporters rose to their feet, but David Tabb was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marian Anderjoli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gregg Graber lost his temper 28 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Zelg FC! Zelg FC:s Marian Anderjoli showed great skill when he stopped Guillermo Marin:s penalty. Gualterio Bidun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Formentera's David Tabb in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zelg FC's goalie prevented a goal. Marian Anderjoli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from David Tabb went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hannes Gerig stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Zelg FC defense, Leonides Manny kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marian Anderjoli. The Zelg FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marian Anderjoli should have stopped the shot. Zelg FC's Marian Anderjoli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Zelg FC from getting a goal against them. David Tabb could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Marian Anderjoli made a huge save. David Tabb's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Marian Anderjoli skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Formentera booed when Zelg FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michel Theiler didn't get a good kick on the ball. The supporters of Formentera booed when Zelg FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrico Vogt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marian Anderjoli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillermo Marin in the 79th minute of play. Formentera's Leonides Manny got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marian Anderjoli made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Leonides Manny sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as David Tabb kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marian Anderjoli. That made the score 0-10 in the 85 minute of play. Marian Anderjoli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Tabb in the 88th minute of the match. Marian Anderjoli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Tabb's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. When the final whistle sounded Formentera left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Zelg FC.
