Niclas Hermansson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 3rdth minute tested the skills of Stasio Starogardzki when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Sundborn IF's Fritz Lindqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raúl Gonzales in the 5th minute of play. In the 10th minute of the match Dobromir Rzeszutko shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fritz Lindqvist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Raúl Gonzales had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fritz Lindqvist. Sundborn IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raúl Gonzales was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 22 played minutes Sundborn IF got a freekick which was hit by Josef Blomqvist. Walery Rekawiczka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Michal Zdeb recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stasio Starogardzki was a little too slow when Johan Fristedt got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Calle Knutsson got free with Stasio Starogardzki in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32nd minute, Cyprian Bochinski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Tolek Zieba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dobromir Rzeszutko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Fritz Lindqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Calle Knutsson in the 54th minute of play forced Modlau's goalkeeper Stasio Starogardzki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Calle Knutsson in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stasio Starogardzki saved Modlau from getting behind. In the 63rd minute Johan Fristedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stasio Starogardzki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Modlau's goal looked a bit too open when Calle Knutsson came free, but Stasio Starogardzki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Walery Rekawiczka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th match minute, Sundborn IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calle Knutsson to maneuver through the defense. Josef Blomqvist hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Michal Zdeb struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Fritz Lindqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Modlau. Lucjan Rosiewicz's late challenge caught a Sundborn IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucjan Rosiewicz helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Modlau's Lucjan Rosiewicz got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 91st match minute, Sundborn IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mark Isaksson to maneuver through the defense. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
