In the 10th minute Hahay were awarded a corner. Thomas Ulleberg went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Dariusz Opat got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-2. 10 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute Korneliusz Weyna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taco Zwartkruis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Korneliusz Weyna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Taco Zwartkruis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's goalkeeper Taco Zwartkruis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Taco Zwartkruis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernard Drugi's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Taco Zwartkruis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernard Drugi, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 35th minute, Bastiaan Carel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Bastiaan Carel got a free kick in the 36th minute. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Taco Zwartkruis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernard Drugi in the 37th minute of play. Bastiaan Carel kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 41st match minute, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rien Bakker to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Julias Rascals Apeldoorn booed when Hahay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boruc Radzyminski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Santiago Kuijt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's supporters rose to their feet, but Santiago Kuijt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgar Smuskiewicz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hahay's Marcin Lepucki was substituted for Przemyslaw Figlewski. After the first half Hahay were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernard Drugi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Korneliusz Weyna might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Taco Zwartkruis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Korneliusz Weyna ran back to his position shaking his head. Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Taco Zwartkruis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 58 minutes into the match, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's goalkeeper Taco Zwartkruis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Boruc Radzyminski. Taco Zwartkruis was a little too slow when Korneliusz Weyna got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 0-3. Edgar Smuskiewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santiago Kuijt in the 69th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Hahay's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Kuijt came free, but Edgar Smuskiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. During the 74th minute of the match Rien Bakker completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Rien Bakker a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Rien Bakker kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. A collision led to Julias Rascals Apeldoorn getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Rien Bakker hit a great ball. After 80 played minutes Julias Rascals Apeldoorn got a freekick which was hit by Kristof Walregt. Edgar Smuskiewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans-Cees Schattenberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute of the match Julias Rascals Apeldoorn got a corner. Hahay's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luuk Harmannus ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Luuk Harmannus to fire away a dangerous shot which Edgar Smuskiewicz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the final whistle sounded Hahay left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Julias Rascals Apeldoorn.
