Eriberto Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Kuijt in the 9th minute of play. Wanderson de Brito received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Taco Zwartkruis came out and tried to block the shot, but Wanderson de Brito slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 10th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santiago Kuijt in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eriberto Moura prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nelsinho Meireles charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nelsinho Meireles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th minute, Frédson Sarmento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Taco Zwartkruis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Julias Rascals Apeldoorn from getting a goal against them. Roelof van Kampen charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roelof van Kampen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th minute, Roelof van Kampen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Taco Zwartkruis made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Beto Penha sent off a good shot on target. In the 31st match minute, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bertus Spijker to maneuver through the defense. The audience cheered when Nelsinho Meireles's long shot passed Taco Zwartkruis's right side. It was 2-0, 31 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the match, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's goal looked a bit too open when Beto Penha came free, but Taco Zwartkruis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But to his dismay, Santiago Kuijt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Santiago Kuijt made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's goal looked a bit too open when Frédson Sarmento came free, but Taco Zwartkruis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 57 minutes on the clock, Frédson Sarmento commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's goalkeeper Taco Zwartkruis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eriberto Moura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans-Cees Schattenberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Kristof Walregt made in the 68th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Hans-Cees Schattenberg immediately put the ball in play. Nelsinho Meireles kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, CRISDIELDAN's Renato Paraense got a free kick in the 77th minute. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Erik Roelfs was substituted for Hans-Cees Schattenberg. Régis Bueno hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Erik Roelfs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eriberto Moura was relentless in the 95th minute of the game.
