The audience was convinced that Edmund Püss's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabricio Nahia was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Fabricio Nahia came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Grimório's Ronald Pahapill. But to his dismay, Ronald Pahapill quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Edmund Püss had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. After the first half Grimório were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmund Püss got free with Fabricio Nahia in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Grimório's zone, Iker Galtero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marek Valk came out of the goal and Iker Galtero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Edmund Püss fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grimório's protests and gave Edmund Püss a yellow card for diving instead. After 73 played minutes Grimório got a freekick which was hit by Edmund Püss. In the 75th minute, San Fernando Eagles's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Edmund Püss fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Marek Valk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iker Galtero in the 83rd minute of the match. The supporters of San Fernando Eagles booed when Grimório was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Einar Laaniste didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chants of Grimório echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as San Fernando Eagles had held the ball for most of the match.
