In the 8th minute, Prudencio Gerazan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ruben Montez. The goal made the score 1-0. Vilgot Haegg came free with the goalkeeper in the 10th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ruben Montez could save by the left post. In the 12th minute Rubinho Novaes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Einar Ingvall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olofsi IF's goalkeeper Einar Ingvall, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Einar Ingvall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mats Hermansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 30th minute, Benjamin Ekström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olofsi IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. If Vilgot Haegg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 34 minutes into the match, Olofsi IF's goal looked a bit too open when Genílson Carneiro came free, but Einar Ingvall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lars-Erik Friberger kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Einar Ingvall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubinho Novaes in the 37th minute of play. If Genílson Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vilgot Haegg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A sloppy throw-in by André Kuipers in the 44th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Olofsi IF's Prudencio Gerazan.

The wind increased when Vilgot Haegg made the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Einar Ingvall successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vilgot Haegg in the 53rd minute of play forced Hala Madrid Iraki FC's goalkeeper Ruben Montez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Prudencio Gerazan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 59 minutes, Einar Ingvall successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ruben Montez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Krzysztof Pawlak in the 60th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Krzysztof Pawlak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 64 minutes, Chip Potterton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hala Madrid Iraki FC and the Olofsi IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vilgot Haegg in the 66th minute of play forced Hala Madrid Iraki FC's goalkeeper Ruben Montez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Hala Madrid Iraki FC's Mark Åberg got a free kick in the 68th minute. Olofsi IF's Einar Ingvall proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Olofsi IF from getting a goal against them. After 75 played minutes Hala Madrid Iraki FC got a freekick which was hit by Håkan Ödman. Hala Madrid Iraki FC made a substitution. Ciro Di Marzio replaced Marcelo Gallarde. Hala Madrid Iraki FC made a substitution. Kristian Tillman replaced Stefan Danielsson. Håkan Ödman kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Olofsi IF's Einar Ingvall proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Olofsi IF from getting a goal against them. Mark Åberg hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Olofsi IF were victorious despite being under pressure from Hala Madrid Iraki FC for much of the match.
