Petter Skarkman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Samir Handanovič read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Samir Handanovič showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guido Python in the 17th minute of the match. Petter Skarkman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Samir Handanovič made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ziemowit Soroka in the 20th minute of play forced Protegéerna's goalkeeper Ingemar Åberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samir Handanovič showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Python, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Protegéerna's Petter Skarkman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Samir Handanovič. That made the score 1-0 after 39 minutes of play. With a little luck, Tarsus İdman Yurdu's Samir Handanovič got control of the ball when Petter Skarkman tried to sneak it across the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Protegéerna's goal looked a bit too open when Ziemowit Soroka came free, but Ingemar Åberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The wind increased when Petter Skarkman made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes Tarsus İdman Yurdu's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Michael Näver who took care of the corner kick. Michael Näver made a great header on Protegéerna's corner, it was just that Tarsus İdman Yurdu's Samir Handanovič managed to reach the ball for a save. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 74 minutes into the match, Protegéerna's Christer Nyberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Samir Handanovič narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christer Nyberg in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Samir Handanovič prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 77 minutes of play, Protegéerna's Petter Skarkman made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Samir Handanovič was left in no man's land by his defense there! Samir Handanovič made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ossi Eloranta in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute Protegéerna were awarded a corner. Michael Näver went to the cornerflag to take it. When Protegéerna's Petter Skarkman in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tarsus İdman Yurdu's goalie prevented a goal. Samir Handanovič took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christer Nyberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samir Handanovič didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Petter Skarkman went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Protegéerna's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
