Pogoń Stawiszyn's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pawel Degutis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pawel Degutis in the 6th minute of play forced Pogoń Stawiszyn's goalkeeper Gilbert Podolski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clodoveo Henry could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Gilbert Podolski made a huge save. Gilbert Podolski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pawel Degutis, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 18th minute of the match Pogoń Stawiszyn got a corner. mt93 Tarnów's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Florian Panikowski ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jacek Kolbe kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Gilbert Podolski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pawel Degutis, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 34th minute Kazimierz Dylla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cyryl Szpakowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 34 minutes of play, Pogoń Stawiszyn's Kazimierz Dylla made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilbert Podolski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pawel Degutis went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 44 minutes into the match, Dobromir Gleba notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Pogoń Stawiszyn's Gilbert Podolski. Gilbert Podolski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 56thth minute of the game Pawel Degutis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pogoń Stawiszyn's Gilbert Podolski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Pogoń Stawiszyn defense, Pawel Degutis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gilbert Podolski. The Pogoń Stawiszyn fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gilbert Podolski should have stopped the shot. In the 73rd minute, Pawel Degutis made a precise shot to the right of Gilbert Podolski. Pogoń Stawiszyn's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. In the 75th minute, Ryszard Pilipiec got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pawel Degutis in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilbert Podolski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Pogoń Stawiszyn fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gilbert Podolski should have stopped the shot. If Pawel Degutis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gilbert Podolski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pawel Degutis in the 85th minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Pawel Degutis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-1. Gilbert Podolski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pawel Degutis might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilbert Podolski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pawel Degutis ran back to his position shaking his head. 91 minutes into the match, Pogoń Stawiszyn's goal looked a bit too open when Pawel Degutis came free, but Gilbert Podolski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute, Florian Panikowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 97th match minute, mt93 Tarnów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blas Raymundo to maneuver through the defense. mt93 Tarnów's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
