KOLIBER OCYPEL's Kazimierz Kosowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İlhami Akkurt in the 15th minute of play. İlhami Akkurt took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kazimierz Kosowski. Kazimierz Kosowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Murat Şenalp managed to get in a good position for a shot. H E P T A N's supporters rose to their feet, but Murat Şenalp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The shot was a little too simple and Orhan Seyfi Üstün could save by the left post. 47 minutes into the match, Erhan Timurkan notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of KOLIBER OCYPEL's Kazimierz Kosowski. Kazimierz Kosowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half H E P T A N were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgar Topolski was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, H E P T A N's Erhan Timurkan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kazimierz Kosowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
