After having played for 3 minutes, Carmelo Salantes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ★RO★ T-REX's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carmelo Salantes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 6 played minutes ★RO★ T-REX got a freekick which was hit by Costică Trăistaru. After 8 played minutes ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007 got a freekick which was hit by Eliodor Gheban. When Lucrețiu Ghimiș came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucrețiu Ghimiș couldn't finish the play. Emil Gabor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmelo Salantes in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute Irinel Tatomir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chicão Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Irinel Tatomir ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Chicão Queirós was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Eugen Mihălțan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 27th minute of the match, Thomas Stålberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Emil Gabor saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Chicão Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucrețiu Ghimiș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of ★RO★ T-REX booed when ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucrețiu Ghimiș didn't get a good kick on the ball. 38 minutes in the game Amando Saa did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Carmelo Salantes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Irinel Tatomir in the 39th minute of play forced ★RO★ T-REX's goalkeeper Chicão Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carmelo Salantes got free with Emil Gabor in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44th minute of the match Amando Saa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emil Gabor skillfully saved the ball. 48 minutes into the match, Irinel Tatomir had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chicão Queirós. ★RO★ T-REX's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Irinel Tatomir was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The ★RO★ T-REX players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007 were winning 0-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Irinel Tatomir made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucrețiu Ghimiș got free with Chicão Queirós in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 58th minute ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007 were awarded a corner. Lisandro Martínez went to the cornerflag to take it. Gică Popescu was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 94th minute Lucrețiu Ghimiș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chicão Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lei Fan Chuan kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. In the 97th minute, Amando Saa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Although ★RO★ T-REX had been in control for most of the match, ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007 still came away with the win.
