After 8 played minutes Avel Vat got a freekick which was hit by Guillaume Minier. 19 minutes into the match, Academia Monte Gordo's goalkeeper Vasco Raminhos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmond Kubiak. When Igor Colaço fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Academia Monte Gordo's protests and gave Igor Colaço a yellow card for diving instead. Igor Colaço hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Norberto Frois kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Belchior Ribas to make the kick off. Avel Vat's Moïse Labruyère proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Avel Vat from getting a goal against them. Vasco Raminhos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmond Kubiak went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 59th minute Bilal Moutte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vasco Raminhos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute, Álvaro Leiria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 63rd match minute, Avel Vat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillaume Minier to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute of the match Academia Monte Gordo got a corner. Avel Vat's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Igor Colaço ran over to the corner to take the kick. Joseph Desjardin hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Vasco Raminhos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillaume Minier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edmond Kubiak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Vasco Raminhos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moïse Labruyère was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Igor Colaço. Belchior Ribas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Academia Monte Gordo's Flávio Anjos got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Avel Vat's Aymerick Thellier couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Academia Monte Gordo. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Bilal Moutte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Avel Vat's supporters rose to their feet, but Bilal Moutte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vasco Raminhos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Avel Vat's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
