Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Thomas Åman started the match with the kick off. Thomas Åman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 10 minutes into the game, Bo Lundqvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Nuno Vasconcelos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan-Olof Hedling in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nuno Vasconcelos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 17 played minutes Academia Monte Gordo got a freekick which was hit by Frederico Campelo. 20 minutes into the game, Damião Passos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Anders Bergman. Damião Passos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. When Jan-Olof Hedling fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Team Rocco's protests and gave Jan-Olof Hedling a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Team Rocco getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Jan-Olof Hedling hit a great ball. Academia Monte Gordo's Damião Passos got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nuno Vasconcelos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Åman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Bo Lundqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nuno Vasconcelos was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. 43 minutes into the match, Thomas Åman notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Academia Monte Gordo's Nuno Vasconcelos. Nuno Vasconcelos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fábio Matias kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. 48 minutes into the match, Thomas Åman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nuno Vasconcelos. Academia Monte Gordo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thomas Åman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcos Leonardo to make the kick off. Nuno Vasconcelos made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Jan-Olof Hedling sent off a good shot on target. When Academia Monte Gordo's Marcos Leonardo in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Team Rocco's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Academia Monte Gordo's Nuno Vasconcelos got control of the ball when Jan-Olof Hedling tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 69th minute Marcos Leonardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Bergman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thomas Åman charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thomas Åman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 72nd match minute, Team Rocco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Åman to maneuver through the defense. Nuno Vasconcelos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Åman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Thomas Åman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan-Olof Hedling got free with Nuno Vasconcelos in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 84th minute, Igor Colaço hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Jan-Olof Hedling managed to get in a good position for a shot. Team Rocco's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan-Olof Hedling was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nuno Vasconcelos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anders Bergman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damião Passos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Team Rocco had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
