TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's Vicente Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damião Passos in the 7th minute of play. 9 minutes into the game, Academia Monte Gordo's Marcos Leonardo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vicente Lara made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Fábio Matias's late challenge caught a TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fábio Matias helped the player get up and apologised. After 13 played minutes Academia Monte Gordo got a freekick which was hit by Fábio Matias. The supporters of TRICOSHOW F.CLUB booed when Academia Monte Gordo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fábio Matias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nuno Vasconcelos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Pires, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Vicente Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damião Passos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Norberto Frois during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fábio Matias hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcos Leonardo in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vicente Lara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Belmiro Pombal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Vasconcelos having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Academia Monte Gordo's Fábio Matias got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcos Leonardo was the one to do the kick off. In the 59thth minute of the game Belmiro Pombal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Academia Monte Gordo's Nuno Vasconcelos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Belmiro Pombal in the 60th minute of play forced Academia Monte Gordo's goalkeeper Nuno Vasconcelos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's Vicente Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Vasconcelos in the 63rd minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Academia Monte Gordo's goal looked a bit too open when Filipe Botelho came free, but Nuno Vasconcelos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Emerson Viana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emerson Viana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Nuno Vasconcelos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcos Leonardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Lara having to interfere. Hudson Chaves hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. A collision led to Academia Monte Gordo getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Daniel Linhares hit a great ball. When the match was over Academia Monte Gordo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than TRICOSHOW F.CLUB throughout the match.
