The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Veth Crystals's goal looked a bit too open when Georg Aronsson came free, but Patryk Kensicki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Georg Aronsson in the 5th minute of play forced Veth Crystals's goalkeeper Patryk Kensicki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tobias Göransson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from He Lin Di in the 7th minute of the match. Tobias Göransson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gwidon Patora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patryk Kensicki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Olof Abrahamsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Wingspan's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Gwidon Patora scored to the left of an out of position Tobias Göransson, making the score, 1-0. Gwidon Patora did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Tobias Göransson 23 minutes into the match. If Harald Norberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Veth Crystals's Tobias Göransson threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from He Lin Di, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Per-Arne Sjöström hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jocke Nilsson to make the kick off. 50 minutes into the match, FC Wingspan's goal looked a bit too open when Gwidon Patora came free, but Tobias Göransson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jocke Nilsson in the 55th minute of play forced Veth Crystals's goalkeeper Patryk Kensicki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tim Örtlund kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 60th minute Gwidon Patora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Göransson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Georg Aronsson hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 63rd match minute, FC Wingspan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tim Örtlund to maneuver through the defense. Tobias Göransson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gwidon Patora went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Veth Crystals's Edward Oliszewski got a free kick in the 71st minute. Patryk Kensicki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jocke Nilsson in the 72nd minute of play. Veth Crystals's Song Xing got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 76th minute Erik Persson suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 77 minutes into the game, Tim Örtlund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Wingspan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Veth Crystals the free kick. After 78 played minutes FC Wingspan got a freekick which was hit by Tim Örtlund. Tobias Göransson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Wierzchowski in the 79th minute of the match. Jocke Nilsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Patryk Kensicki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tim Örtlund hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Tobias Göransson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gwidon Patora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute, Witold Lepucki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Veth Crystals fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0.
