With an all-out effort, Team Rocco's Tobias Göransson threw himself towards the right post 5 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lennart Abrahamsson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, FC Wingspan's Tobias Göransson got control of the ball when Arvid Flinck tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tobias Göransson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lennart Abrahamsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nils-Erik Bengtsson kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arvid Flinck got free with Tobias Göransson in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arvid Flinck received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tobias Göransson came out and tried to block the shot, but Arvid Flinck slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 15th minute. In the 20thth minute of the game Lennart Abrahamsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Wingspan's Tobias Göransson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Team Rocco's zone, Jocke Nilsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcus Klint came out of the goal and Jocke Nilsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 32 minutes, Arvid Flinck made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. FC Wingspan's Tobias Göransson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 35thth minute of the game Lennart Abrahamsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Wingspan's Tobias Göransson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Lennart Abrahamsson took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Tobias Göransson to make any attempt to save it. Jan-Olof Abrahamsson struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Marcus Klint didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Wingspan. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jocke Nilsson to make the kick off. Tobias Göransson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Trillkott, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the match, FC Wingspan's goal looked a bit too open when Lennart Abrahamsson came free, but Tobias Göransson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Lennart Abrahamsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tobias Göransson. After having played for 66 minutes, Arvid Flinck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Team Rocco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arvid Flinck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lennart Abrahamsson in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tobias Göransson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcus Klint stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jocke Nilsson's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. FC Wingspan's Tobias Göransson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lennart Abrahamsson in the 73rd minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Lennart Abrahamsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tobias Göransson. FC Wingspan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lennart Abrahamsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Through an outstanding action, after 82 minutes, Marcus Klint successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jocke Nilsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Marcus Klint when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jocke Nilssons short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Marcus Klint to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With 91 minutes on the clock, Jan Morat commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 90 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Wingspan! Roland Trillkott received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Tobias Göransson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Wingspan's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
