A very good chance. 8 minutes into the match, Olympique Fribourg's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Haşim Sevgen came free, but Patrick Knechtli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Ahmet Haşim Sevgen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Patrick Knechtli. Olympique Fribourg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ahmet Haşim Sevgen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 14th minute, Tang Kang Xi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute Florian Plouffe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristen Krasmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herve Muller took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kristen Krasmer. Hvam FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Medero Gadea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute Bruno Guimarães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Knechtli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patrick Knechtli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ahmet Haşim Sevgen went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Téo Savion managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olympique Fribourg's supporters rose to their feet, but Téo Savion was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kristen Krasmer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 47 minutes, Florian Plouffe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olympique Fribourg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florian Plouffe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 51st minute Florian Plouffe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristen Krasmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kristen Krasmer came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Olympique Fribourg's Medero Gadea. But to his dismay, Medero Gadea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Patrick Knechtli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Guimarães in the 59th minute of play. Patrick Knechtli made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Ahmet Haşim Sevgen sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Téo Savion in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kristen Krasmer saved Hvam FC from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Téo Savion's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kristen Krasmer was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Bruno Guimarães's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patrick Knechtli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Kristen Krasmer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Téo Savion, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Olympique Fribourg's Salomo Montandon was substituted for Marcellus Walpert. The supporters of Hvam FC booed when Olympique Fribourg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herve Muller didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patrick Knechtli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stephan Isager in the 78th minute of play. In the 87th match minute, Olympique Fribourg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Schroeder to maneuver through the defense. 88 minutes in the game, Stephan Isager fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Patrick Knechtli having to interfere. After having played for 91 minutes, Bruno Guimarães managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hvam FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Guimarães was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Herve Muller fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Olympique Fribourg's protests and gave Herve Muller a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th match minute, Olympique Fribourg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Schroeder to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmet Haşim Sevgen got free with Patrick Knechtli in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Hvam FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
