An unexpectedly hard shot by Noah Zahno in the 13th minute of play forced Vallentuna Kickers's goalkeeper Edgar Utter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patrick Knechtli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mats Kellman, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Raik Topuz succeeded in the game's 20th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. With his leg Edgar Utter managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Olympique Fribourg's Herve Muller fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 28th match minute, Olympique Fribourg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raik Topuz to maneuver through the defense. Patrick Knechtli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conny Kvist in the 30th minute of the match. Noah Zahno hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Fabio Poffet charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabio Poffet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sven-Oskar Mellin took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patrick Knechtli. Patrick Knechtli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 39th match minute, Vallentuna Kickers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronny Dahlqvist to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 40th minute by Medero Gadea got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Noah Zahno in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edgar Utter saved Vallentuna Kickers from getting behind. A collision led to Vallentuna Kickers getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Sven Bergkvist hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Vallentuna Kickers's zone, Raik Topuz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Utter came out of the goal and Raik Topuz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th minute, Ronny Dahlqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Conny Kvist made the kick off in the second half. Edgar Utter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herve Muller, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After some careless play in the Vallentuna Kickers defense, Herve Muller kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgar Utter. The Vallentuna Kickers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgar Utter should have stopped the shot. Fred Stutz took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgar Utter. Edgar Utter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After 63 minutes of play, Olympique Fribourg's Noah Zahno made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgar Utter was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 65th match minute, Vallentuna Kickers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conny Kvist to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Olympique Fribourg booed when Vallentuna Kickers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oliver Johnsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Vallentuna Kickers's goal looked a bit too open when Herve Muller came free, but Edgar Utter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgar Utter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raik Topuz in the 73rd minute of play. 78 minutes into the game, Olympique Fribourg's Raik Topuz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edgar Utter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. After 81 played minutes Vallentuna Kickers got a freekick which was hit by Jens Jonasson. Edgar Utter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Poffet, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute, Medero Gadea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgar Utter was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Patrick Knechtli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Conny Kvist in the 88th minute. In the 90th minute, Noah Zahno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olympique Fribourg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. 93 minutes into the match, Noah Zahno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgar Utter. Vallentuna Kickers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Noah Zahno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-1. Edgar Utter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Medero Gadea in the 96th minute of play. There was no doubt that Olympique Fribourg were the better team. Olympique Fribourg's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
