An unexpectedly hard shot by Dany Wiesenberg in the 4th minute of play forced Hvam FC's goalkeeper Kristen Krasmer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raik Topuz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dany Wiesenberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Kristen Krasmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 14 played minutes Hvam FC got a freekick which was hit by Niceto Bakar. Dany Wiesenberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kristen Krasmer. Hvam FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Patrick Knechtli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Habakkuk Cole's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Bruno Guimarães's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Patrick Knechtli skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Olympique Fribourg's Medero Gadea got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Patrick Knechtli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmet Haşim Sevgen in the 31st minute. Hvam FC's Kristen Krasmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raik Topuz in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Bruno Guimarães notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Olympique Fribourg's Patrick Knechtli. Patrick Knechtli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kristen Krasmer came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Olympique Fribourg's Raik Topuz. But to his dismay, Raik Topuz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Kristen Krasmer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Medero Gadea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olympique Fribourg were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after Hvam FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marcellus Walpert took the corner. Medero Gadea scored 1-2 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kristen Krasmer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Hvam FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Olympique Fribourg were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raik Topuz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Raik Topuz didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 56th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Hvam FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Olympique Fribourg had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
