In the 22nd match minute, DINAMO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucrețiu Nicodim to maneuver through the defense. Nils-Erik Gunnarsson's late challenge caught a DINAMO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryszard Borcz in the 40th minute of play forced Rosendahl Flyers's goalkeeper Axel Bergren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucrețiu Nicodim kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dumitru Opincaru got free with Axel Bergren in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lucrețiu Nicodim succeeded in the game's 46th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tommy Vase to make the kick off. Axel Bergren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucrețiu Nicodim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Axel Bergren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucrețiu Nicodim, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Henric Casas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Axel Bergren. Rosendahl Flyers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 61st minute, Dumitru Opincaru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DINAMO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Axel Bergren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucrețiu Nicodim went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. In the 70th minute, Basarab Zburliş ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Axel Bergren was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tommy Vase in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romeo Iovanovici saved DINAMO from getting behind. Dorin Agârbiceanu's late challenge caught a Rosendahl Flyers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
