Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fabrício Lustosa started the match with the kick off. After having played for 4 minutes, Arana Ponta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Academia Monte Gordo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arana Ponta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Academia Monte Gordo's goal looked a bit too open when Kartal Başar came free, but Mao Zhen Hong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mao Zhen Hong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kartal Başar in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Jaap Stam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabrício Lustosa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardo Hendrickx read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Twierdza Osowiec's Pepo Orihuela got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 30th minute, Arana Ponta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ricardo Hendrickx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabrício Lustosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. A collision led to Twierdza Osowiec getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Joannes Leenknecht hit a great ball. Kartal Başar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mao Zhen Hong read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kartal Başar to strike the kick off in the second half. Fabrício Lustosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Ricardo Hendrickx made a huge save. Simon Matsson made in the 57th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Rodrigo Mafra however managed to control. Kartal Başar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Mao Zhen Hong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Academia Monte Gordo's Pascual Mouricio was substituted for Arana Ponta. Twierdza Osowiec's Pierre-Olivier Rix managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Simon Matsson in the 85 minute of the game. Mao Zhen Hong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kartal Başar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute Kartal Başar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mao Zhen Hong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute, Codrin Zamfira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 93 played minutes Twierdza Osowiec got a freekick which was hit by Joannes Leenknecht. 95 minutes into the match, Christian Westerstrand had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo Hendrickx. Twierdza Osowiec's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christian Westerstrand was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Academia Monte Gordo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
