Jens-Åke Mattsson helped the player get up and apologised. Mexilhão F. C.'s Pedrão Mello was substituted for Abel de Lara. After 18 played minutes Rosendahl Flyers got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Åke Mattsson. 19 minutes into the match, Rosendahl Flyers's goal looked a bit too open when Edson Recife came free, but Richard Brodin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Pedrão Mello's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Richard Brodin was relentless in the 25th minute of the game.
