The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabrício Lustosa got free with Borys Poreda in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The corner led Academia Monte Gordo's Arana Ponta to fire away a dangerous shot which Borys Poreda despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Academia Monte Gordo's goalkeeper Mao Zhen Hong, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Academia Monte Gordo's Mao Zhen Hong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhu Yan Quan in the 17th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Zhu Yan Quan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mao Zhen Hong quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mao Zhen Hong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zhu Yan Quan, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Fabrício Lustosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Borys Poreda made a huge save. Fabrício Lustosa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Borys Poreda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zhu Yan Quan in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mao Zhen Hong prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 33rd minute Victoria Toruń were awarded a corner. Zhu Yan Quan went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Victoria Toruń's D.J. 武磊 getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Benedykt Kluska made in the 36th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Dragolyub Dzhahov however managed to control. Arana Ponta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mao Zhen Hong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from D.J. 武磊 in the 43rd minute of the match. Fabrício Lustosa came free with the goalkeeper in the 47th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Borys Poreda could save by the left post. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zhu Yan Quan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Victoria Toruń's D.J. 武磊 got a free kick in the 51st minute. Victoria Toruń's Borys Poreda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabrício Lustosa in the 53rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling D.J. 武磊 in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mao Zhen Hong prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 62 minutes into the game, Burt Burachek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. In the 67th minute Christian Westerstrand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Borys Poreda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mao Zhen Hong stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zhu Yan Quan's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. In the 71stth minute of the game Zhu Yan Quan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Academia Monte Gordo's Mao Zhen Hong was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Borys Poreda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Westerstrand in the 74th minute of play. Academia Monte Gordo made a substitution. Cristiano Carrasqueira replaced Adérito Abreu. A sloppy throw-in by Pascual Mouricio in the 77th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Victoria Toruń's Benedykt Kluska. Victoria Toruń's Borys Poreda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Westerstrand in the 79th minute of play. Mao Zhen Hong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from D.J. 武磊, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the match, Victoria Toruń's goal looked a bit too open when Pascual Mouricio came free, but Borys Poreda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
