In the 19th minute Olgun Oktay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Brodin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Olgun Oktay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Richard Brodin was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. The supporters of COPERNICUS TORUŃ booed when Rosendahl Flyers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. The COPERNICUS TORUŃ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Gordon Horgan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Hägglund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brion Murphy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Brodin having to interfere. Richard Brodin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brion Murphy, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Gordon Horgan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. COPERNICUS TORUŃ walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
