Celso Trevisan made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Norberto Prata sent off a good shot on target. In the 12th minute Corneliu Dridu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hansjörg Wastl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto Prata in the 16th minute of play forced Dr Lecter SC's goalkeeper Celso Trevisan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute Luiz Fabiano Pitta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hansjörg Wastl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celso Trevisan made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Henrique Borges sent off a good shot on target. Felippe Pitta kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 29th minute Corneliu Dridu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hansjörg Wastl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hansjörg Wastl came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Dr Lecter SC's Corneliu Dridu. But to his dismay, Corneliu Dridu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Dr Lecter SC's Celso Trevisan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Prata in the 34th minute of play. Celso Trevisan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrique Borges in the 36th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Dr Lecter SC's goalkeeper Celso Trevisan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Norberto Prata. If Corneliu Dridu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Hansjörg Wastl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Corneliu Dridu in the 45th minute of play. Mauro Romero kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Naldo Valladares took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Celso Trevisan. Dr Lecter SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Yan Schmidt was substituted for Norberto Prata. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Corneliu Dridu was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Pedro Geromel hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the game, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Valdemar Tepedino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Celso Trevisan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Corneliu Dridu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hansjörg Wastl read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Hansjörg Wastl made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Fabiano Pitta in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fabiano Sena in the 76th minute of play forced Dr Lecter SC's goalkeeper Celso Trevisan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Hansjörg Wastl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omid Kaulbach in the 85th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Romero in the 87th minute of play forced Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's goalkeeper Hansjörg Wastl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Mauro Romero notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Hansjörg Wastl. Hansjörg Wastl was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dr Lecter SC's Fedele Di Fabrizio was substituted for Corneliu Dridu. Celso Trevisan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yan Schmidt in the 96th minute of the match. If Valdemar Tepedino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Dr Lecter SC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
