Despidida AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fulgencio Furman in the 28th minute. Fulgencio Furman made a great header on Despidida AFC's corner, it was just that Protegéerna's Ingemar Åberg managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 34th minute Petter Skarkman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ingemar Åberg made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Toro Martínez sent off a good shot on target. Protegéerna's Ingemar Åberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Protegéerna from getting a goal against them. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Toro Martínez to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Szymon Pyrzyce was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Despidida AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Protegéerna the free kick. It was Michael Näver who took care of the corner kick. After having played for 59 minutes, Toro Martínez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Despidida AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Toro Martínez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Despidida AFC made a substitution. Emiliano Velasco replaced Toro Martínez. Despidida AFC's Czeslaw Kopacz was substituted for Ancho Branca. Ingemar Åberg came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Despidida AFC's Czeslaw Kopacz.
