In the 14thth minute of the game Petter Skarkman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Chorchoj's Zheng Jian Yi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 20 minutes, Lautaro-Gabriel Martinez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Chorchoj's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro-Gabriel Martinez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Protegéerna's Xu Yi Chong quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lino Policarpio, made in the 24th minute of the game. Zheng Jian Yi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petter Skarkman in the 31st minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Petter Skarkman was the one to do the kick off. Zheng Jian Yi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Python, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute, Guido Python got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Robert Oštraković kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Zheng Jian Yi acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 84th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Michael Näver. Protegéerna's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Michael Näver in the 86th minute. It was a well-played corner which Ossi Eloranta managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. A collision led to FC Chorchoj getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Alois Selinger hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Chorchoj's zone, Michael Näver stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zheng Jian Yi came out of the goal and Michael Näver tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Chorchoj were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Protegéerna to leave the ground with a draw.
