Rodrigo Bautista scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chucky Norris, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 23 minutes into the match, Palermo AFC's goalkeeper Severino Barros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Santana. Severiano Udalaitz's late challenge caught a SAN MARTIN F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Severiano Udalaitz helped the player get up and apologised. The long shot by Celestino Manuelo in the 26th minute really tested Severino Barros's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Severino Barros successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience was convinced that You Nan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Severino Barros was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. After 32 minutes of play, SAN MARTIN F.C.'s You Nan made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Severino Barros was left in no man's land by his defense there! Chucky Norris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Bautista, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Palermo AFC's Rodrigo Bautista managed to work through SAN MARTIN F.C.'s defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Rodrigo Bautista dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 43rd minute, Rodrigo Bautista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Palermo AFC's Severino Barros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Palermo AFC from getting a goal against them. Wojciech Kobeko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Severino Barros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A sloppy throw-in by Celestino Manuelo in the 65th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Palermo AFC's Severo Leheren. In the 67th match minute, Palermo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Domiku to maneuver through the defense. After 68 minutes of play, SAN MARTIN F.C.'s Ben Breton made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Severino Barros was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 76 minutes, Ben Breton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SAN MARTIN F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Ben Breton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 85 minutes of play, SAN MARTIN F.C.'s Ben Breton made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Severino Barros was left in no man's land by his defense there! 92 minutes into the match, Ben Breton notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Palermo AFC's Severino Barros. Severino Barros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Celestino Manuelo kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. SAN MARTIN F.C. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
