Defensores de Mar de Ajó's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Cesar Romildo took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Matías Patrone to make any attempt to save it. 37 minutes into the match, Los Delfines's goalkeeper Matías Patrone had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cesar Romildo. In the 45th minute, Lucas Urbez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Delfines fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. With a little luck, Los Delfines's Matías Patrone got control of the ball when Alberto Aznar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lucas Urbez to make the kick off. Kleopas Plouffe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Abeitia in the 51st minute of the match. Alberto Aznar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Matías Patrone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. During the 57th minute of the match Gogo Elequemedo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Gogo Elequemedo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Los Delfines's Alessio Borrelli was substituted for Lucas Urbez. Gogo Elequemedo hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Daniel Abeitia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Kleopas Plouffe successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 68 minutes into the match, Defensores de Mar de Ajó's goal looked a bit too open when Ambrosio Bartolome came free, but Kleopas Plouffe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raimundo Goyo took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kleopas Plouffe. Kleopas Plouffe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. A collision led to Defensores de Mar de Ajó getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Alberto Aznar hit a great ball. Kleopas Plouffe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Abeitia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute, Placido Llanos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Although Defensores de Mar de Ajó had been in control for most of the match, Los Delfines still came away with the win.
