A collision led to GERLIROJO Ψ getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Vaklin Dzhevov hit a great ball. Fernando Selatse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Jax, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juan Morata came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Despidida AFC's Toro Martínez. But to his dismay, Toro Martínez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Despidida AFC's attentive Emanuel Lucila managed to snatch the ball when Isidro Larra made a throw-in in the 20th minute of the game. Juan Morata stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Toro Martínez's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Isidro Larra hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Toro Martínez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Juan Morata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toro Martínez, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 42nd match minute, Despidida AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justino Elequemedo to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Martin Jax to strike the kick off in the second half. The throw-in from Justino Elequemedo in the 52nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by GERLIROJO Ψ's Adriano Vilanova. After a defensive mix-up in Despidida AFC's zone, Martin Jax stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Selatse came out of the goal and Martin Jax tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind GERLIROJO Ψ's goalkeeper Juan Morata, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in GERLIROJO Ψ's zone, Kees Harmsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Morata came out of the goal and Kees Harmsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Despidida AFC's Pastor Tino was substituted for Arturo Arano. Despidida AFC's Czeslaw Kopacz was substituted for Ancho Branca. Despidida AFC's Emiliano Velasco was substituted for Toro Martínez. The supporters of GERLIROJO Ψ booed when Despidida AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justino Elequemedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Czeslaw Kopacz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juan Morata was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. When the referee ended the match the Despidida AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
