A collision led to Amboy FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Cornelio Rius hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the game, Eugenio Mena threw the ball into play from the sideline. Amboy FC's Bruce Cornforth quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Amboy FC's Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Ruperto Modestio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Omar Lauren was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. In the 19th minute of the match, Isaias Erroman tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ariel Mourelatos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Balvanera's zone, Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Omar Lauren came out of the goal and Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eusebio Ecija kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Deportivo Balvanera's Omar Lauren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruperto Modestio in the 25th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Isaias Erroman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Omar Lauren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 36 minutes into the match, Deportivo Balvanera's goal looked a bit too open when Ruperto Modestio came free, but Omar Lauren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Omar Lauren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruperto Modestio in the 41st minute of the match. In the 43rd minute Ruperto Modestio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Lauren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Omar Lauren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán ran back to his position shaking his head. Omar Lauren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

If Eusebio Ecija had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deportivo Balvanera's François-Xavier Castello was substituted for Isaias Erroman. After 66 played minutes Deportivo Balvanera got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Mena. In the 69thth minute of the game François-Xavier Castello who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amboy FC's Ariel Mourelatos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Omar Lauren made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Mario Alberto Abascal sent off a good shot on target. Amboy FC's Ariel Mourelatos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by François-Xavier Castello in the 79th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Everardo Cordero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers François-Xavier Castello in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ariel Mourelatos saved Amboy FC from getting behind. Ariel Mourelatos came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Balvanera's François-Xavier Castello. But to his dismay, François-Xavier Castello quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 93rd minute, François-Xavier Castello made a precise shot to the right of Ariel Mourelatos. Amboy FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Deportivo Balvanera fully deserved thier win.
