Håkan Wennersten started the match with the kick off. Justino Tadzio hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Monky FC's Felipe Tajo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesar Romildo in the 6th minute of play. After 7 minutes Monky FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cesar Romildo who took care of the corner kick. In the 8th match minute, Monky FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Håkan Wennersten to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Monky FC's zone, Gogo Elequemedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felipe Tajo came out of the goal and Gogo Elequemedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kleopas Plouffe was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Håkan Wennersten capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Håkan Wennersten really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. If Patricio Mannuel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Defensores de Mar de Ajó getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Valentin Laurendi hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Denis Sein managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monky FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Denis Sein was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kleopas Plouffe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 23rd minute Gogo Elequemedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Tajo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gogo Elequemedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Felipe Tajo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gogo Elequemedo in the 25th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Monky FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Aznar came free, but Felipe Tajo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felipe Tajo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gogo Elequemedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 29th match minute, Defensores de Mar de Ajó was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santiago Loi to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the match, Håkan Wennersten dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kleopas Plouffe, 2-0. When Defensores de Mar de Ajó's Gogo Elequemedo in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Romildo in the 42nd minute of play forced Monky FC's goalkeeper Felipe Tajo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gogo Elequemedo was the one to do the kick off. Cesar Romildo struck a weak shot in the 50th minute. Felipe Tajo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Defensores de Mar de Ajó. Cesar Romildo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Felipe Tajo made a huge save. In the 52nd minute, Håkan Wennersten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Defensores de Mar de Ajó's Gogo Elequemedo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Felipe Tajo. That made the score 2-1 after 53 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gogo Elequemedo got free with Felipe Tajo in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kleopas Plouffe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Håkan Wennersten in the 68th minute of play. Monky FC were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Defensores de Mar de Ajó's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Andres Musko took the corner. After 74th play minutes Gogo Elequemedo shot 3-2, a short shot which went by Felipe Tajo and just under the crossbar into goal. Kleopas Plouffe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Mannuel in the 79th minute of the match. Kleopas Plouffe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Patricio Mannuel went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. In the 86th match minute, Monky FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmar Obano to maneuver through the defense. Kleopas Plouffe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Håkan Wennersten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Defensores de Mar de Ajó's Santiago Loi got a free kick in the 92nd minute.
