Konrad Wielkopolski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Agustin Orion read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, AC Batán's Acácio Nogueira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Agustin Orion made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 43rd minute, Norberto Brun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán was the one to do the kick off. Norberto Brun made in the 79th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Amboy FC's Mario Alberto Abascal. After some careless play in the AC Batán defense, Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ni Le Zheng. The AC Batán fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ni Le Zheng should have stopped the shot. Ladislao Muc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 92 minutes into the match, Amboy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ladislao Muc came free, but Agustin Orion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
