The audience thought a goal was coming when Arturo Arano got free with Agustin Orion in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dominik Fink kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Agustin Orion didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Toro Martínez went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruperto Modestio in the 45th minute of play forced Despidida AFC's goalkeeper Fernando Selatse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Toro Martínez made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Despidida AFC booed when Amboy FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruperto Modestio didn't get a good kick on the ball.
