Los Delfines's Matías Patrone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gogo Elequemedo in the 6th minute of play. Kleopas Plouffe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Goyo, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Kleopas Plouffe made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Ezequiel Artizar sent off a good shot on target. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cesar Romildo was the one to do the kick off. Defensores de Mar de Ajó's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ciriaco Selmo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Kleopas Plouffe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Ascencio in the 92nd minute of play. Los Delfines's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
