Jean Neirynck came free with the goalkeeper in the 9th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marcel Anisie could save by the left post. DINAMO's Marcel Anisie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save DINAMO from getting a goal against them. 17 minutes into the match, Portus Ganda's goal looked a bit too open when Eugen Bobocea came free, but Nils Robin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nils Robin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Rednic, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Nils Robin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Rednic in the 24th minute of the match. Basarab Bâlea took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nils Robin. Nils Robin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Nils Robin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugen Bobocea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ovidiu Crăciun took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nils Robin. Portus Ganda's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Portus Ganda's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Rednic came free, but Nils Robin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Jean Neirynck had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcel Anisie. DINAMO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jean Neirynck was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 47th minute, Billie Van Den Abeele hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Billie Van Den Abeele made a kick off. Billie Van Den Abeele sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 54 minutes into the game, Basarab Bâlea recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nils Robin. Basarab Bâlea showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. If Lennert De Loose had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nils Robin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Șerban Damian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Billie Van Den Abeele sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in DINAMO's zone, Lennert De Loose stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcel Anisie came out of the goal and Lennert De Loose tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th minute, Șerban Damian ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nils Robin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. The crowd rose to their feet as Șerban Damian kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nils Robin. That made the score 2-5 in the 83 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adam Rednic got free with Nils Robin in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcel Anisie stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Billie Van Den Abeele's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. The DINAMO players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
