Marcel Anisie stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Răzvan Frumuzache's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute, Șerban Damian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, FC BaLiSt's Mihăiţă Corbeanu got a free kick in the 27th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Răzvan Frumuzache in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcel Anisie saved DINAMO from getting behind. With a little luck, FC BaLiSt's Gelu Pârâianu got control of the ball when Adam Rednic tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Florin Braica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC BaLiSt's Dragoş Tăbăcaru was substituted for Robert Piersic. Marcel Anisie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Răzvan Frumuzache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The wind increased when Șerban Damian made the kick off in the second half. Traian Muscaș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Anisie having to interfere. Eugen Bobocea hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After 55 minutes, Pompiliu Lechințan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC BaLiSt and the DINAMO players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of DINAMO booed when FC BaLiSt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pompiliu Lechințan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gelu Pârâianu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Chircu in the 56th minute of the match. After 58 played minutes FC BaLiSt got a freekick which was hit by Laurențiu Encica. In the 59th minute of the match Adam Rednic shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gelu Pârâianu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. FC BaLiSt's Horia Pantiș was substituted for Dragoş Tăbăcaru. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind DINAMO's goalkeeper Marcel Anisie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Răzvan Frumuzache in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcel Anisie saved DINAMO from getting behind. In the 78th match minute, DINAMO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cătălin Mestecăneanu to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florin Braica got free with Marcel Anisie in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Răzvan Frumuzache's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcel Anisie read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Florin Braica received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Marcel Anisie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC BaLiSt's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
